ANNUN is an immersive sound installation presented at GASBON METABOLISM in collaboration with the jewelry brand CAFCA. This work is rooted in a personal conceptual vision originally inspired by a vivid sensory experience: the imagined silhouette of death as a vast and encompassing presence, within which countless bubbles encapsulate memories of joy, sorrow, pain, and pleasure—life in its totality.
In this exhibition, the space was centered around absence—no physical sculpture was placed in the middle. Instead, a custom-built apparatus generated ephemeral soap bubbles in real time. A camera captured these fragile forms and projected them live onto a large wall surface, magnifying their impermanence and fluidity into a monumental visual experience.
The space was surrounded by a series of clear acrylic columns showcasing new jewelry pieces by CAFCA. These stood like silent witnesses, refracting light and symbolically resonating with the transient nature of the bubbles.
The installation was framed sonically by an original multichannel composition based on the themes of boundary, void, memory, and the simultaneous presence of the ephemeral and the infinite. The sound evolved throughout the space, enveloping the viewer in a contemplative auditory field. A limited-edition cassette tape featuring the audio composition was produced and made available during the exhibition.
